Jean Gagnon

A 42-year veteran of the travel industry, Jean managed the retail division of Plaza Travel and Meetings for 25 years before purchasing the firm in 2015. The Institute of Certified Travel Agents awarded her the designation of Certified Travel Counselor in 1985. Ms. Gagnon has traveled extensively throughout the world and is called upon frequently to share her expertise with the public via local television, radio and print media. She was an adjunct instructor of travel and tourism at University College of Syracuse University and Schenectady County Community College. At Plaza Travel, Jean specializes in VIP travel, custom planning international itineraries and group travel.

Lisa LaForest

A native of the Capital district, Lisa started her career in travel over twenty seven years ago in the hotel industry. She has been a travel counselor with Plaza Travel since 1992. Favorite destinations include the Canadian Rockies, especially the rail journey from Vancouver, and Spain. She recently visited Playa del Carmen on the Riviera Maya in Mexico and it is now a new favorite.

Deb Racioppa

A graduate of Paul Smith's College with a degree in Travel and Tourism, Deb began her travel career as a travel counselor in 1983. She joined Plaza Travel in 2001 and continues to travel extensively, especially to Europe. Her favorite destinations include Alaska and Italy. She recently explored the Azore Islands, situated off the coast of Portugal in the North Atlantic Ocean.
